ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Tracy Green. A proud Capetonian, born and bred on that little peninsula at the bottom of Africa, I moved to Tasmania, Australia, in 2015 to start a fresh life chapter with my new hubby on his family farm.
Today, I’m a busy wife and mom, working from our “home-on-the-range” in the heart of the Coal River Valley near Campania. On 2forty9 Wine Farm, we grow wheat and Pinot Noir wine grapes and raise sheep – along with our own little Greens, Havana and Hunter.
Spending time making memories with friends and family tops our priority list, and we’re blessed to be able to return to South Africa once a year to visit my birthplace, and that of my kids.
(It’s here that I also get my annual fix of wine, Spur chips and onion rings smothered in that moreish sauce, NikNaks crisps, and the hottest samosas I can find – cravings only fellow “Saffa” ex-pats will relate to.)
What’s the purpose of this backstory? Well, while “between jobs”, I started giving thought to alternative income streams. A sad event triggered a serendipitous “lightbulb moment” … and I’m delighted to share my exciting new venture with you!
